Your well-being is important to us. We want you to live balanced and fulfilled lives and encourage you to take charge of your wellness.
Going to college and living in the residence halls is an exciting time. It is normal to experience feelings about what is to come and how you will deal with the changes. Sometimes there are problems that are not easily resolvable, or usual ways of handling them are not working well for some reason. Counseling is a chance to talk over what is on your mind with an objective person. It does not need to be a crisis to warrant getting help. There is no problem too small to discuss.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers short term counseling for academic, career and personal issues. There is no charge to get started, and all registered students can access services regardless of insurance. Our highly skilled and culturally competent team is here to serve you with a wide range of programs. Learn more about why students might want to make use of Counseling and Psychological Services.
